I speak only for my agency and what I know of the company which I am contracted with. You threaten to "hijack" or "hold a load hostage" and you're done. You are permanently banned from ever hauling for them again and it's made known why you are unapproved when we look up your MC/FID number for screening purposes. Your name, contact info, and everything goes into a database and if you ever tried to apply under a new MC number they'll research it and find you and you won't get approved. They don't play these reindeer games in the slightest and won't hesitate to take action if and when its needed. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's not a place where it's reported to the multiple large brokerage firms when a carrier "hijacks" a load that results in you being placed on multiple "do not load" lists.

Funny. Thats what the folks at HUB Group told me. Until they changed their mind and realized the error of their ways.

Also you should re-read my post since you CLEARLY missed a few things.

For one,I notified both shipper and receiver in both instances.

Want to know what they told me?

Sure you do because you are a smart one.

They instructed me to deal with the agent or broker. They wanted no part. So yes, they could sue, but did they? NO because they wanted no part.

Under the Interstate Commerce Act and now the ICC Termination Act found at 49 U.S.C. § 13707(a) ". . . a carrier providing transportation or service subject to jurisdiction under this part shall give up possession at the destination of the property transported by it only when payment for the transportation or services is made." The statute does provide exceptions and permits the extension of credit under regulations issued by the Secretary of the Department of Transportation. The ICC's credit regulations contained at 49 C.F.R. Part 1320 remain in effect.

He's calling it a federal statute. It's UCC(uniform commercial code)which is not USC or even CFR.

If by "dealing" you mean threatening me and trying to dig up dirt? Go right ahead. Your threats don't scare me and there was no attack made on you. I responded to the thread in question with my opinon based off of someone asking what my opinon might be. But I'll be happy to report you as I have already done several times tonight.

I didn't retaliate against anyone. I quoted three seperate posts across the 8 pages of this thread versus making 3 different posts. It's the multiple quote function at the bottom right corner of each post (the " with the + sign). No one insulted you or said anything about you. In fact, none of what I said concerned you, your company, or your person. You've got it in your craw that the world is out to get you and that's incorrect. Just because I stood up for someone else doesn't mean I wouldn't do the same for you if I felt it was warranted. So cool your jets fella... no one is out to get you unless you're "threatening" to "deal with me too" in which case we can have a battle but I find it ridiculous.

I would guess its more like a hobby or your way to get even with someone you feel has wronged you. Either way, you do what you feel you have to... But at this point, I'm writing you off as someone that needs professional medical help... much like the guy who posted all over Craigslist about how TTR was a conspiracy and the mods were recruiters and such.
