Hi everyone I'm pulling a 53 spread flat for first time. This has the axle set all the way back. I was wondering how to load it if say I get a full gross load.
Usually pull a 48 so thanks

...load it so the weight is distributed evenly, and your drives don't go over 34,000....?

I don't think the back axle is all the way back

General rule of thumb for center of load is the center between your kingpin and the center of your spread axles.

Usually they are set up where the center of the load is directly over the mid turn signal. That’s where every flat I’ve ever pulled seems work best when in the open position.
cke Thanks this.
