    its not only critical with trucking but any aspect, from customer service to your phone company, or newbies calling recruiters

    Absolutely!

    Today I still strive to SHOCK people when they ask me for the drivers name. All I tell them now is "well, you are talking to him" They almost always make a comment. If we all strive for a higher level of communication with the brokers we have to deal with every day wel will be more successful and we will do a lot to keep the "other side" guessing.
