Great information but just ridiculous to read some peoples post's. There is a fine line in being true to who you are and, being disrespectful, this goes for anyone, not pointing fingers here but, you do know who you are. Twice I almost just closed the thread and moved on, I am glad I missed all the ridiculous drama, thank you MODS. I for one don't come here to read anything but informative, funny and new information. I for one get upset sometimes at the MODS but, just like other places you sign up for, you have to hit the "I except" key to come in, I have done that. If you "don't except" anymore than your free to move on. I pray you don't though, your information can be useful to us noobs that want nothing more than to learn what the experienced already know so, please suck it up and stay. That's all

    You're rude.
I think you're doing it wrong if you work harder and make less than a company driver. But what do I know?

Bravo! One quick question. How do you feel about lumpers? I'm sitting here waiting for these lumpers to even open the door for two hours. And they charged us $260. I could unload myself for $260 but the company won't give it to me. Seems like a huge scam.

i fully agree..that for its content...its one of the best posts/threads on here...i dont own a truck but want to..im also one of those guys in my 40's that is new to trucking....i spend my time reading and learning the business mostly from this site..most of it unfortunetly is BS and pissing maches..of course this would open people up to laughing at me,,,but this thread is what this site SHOULD be all about.truckers helping truckers..people who say "you shouldn't be in this business" or "don't have a clue what to charge you are hurting the real truckers" ect ect either they dont remember how it was to be a"noob" or realize not everyone has a trucking family or farm back round to learn this...unlike the truck we drive this job/business doesn't come with a manual and you cant take this course at the local college and most people like me, that drive a company truck are treated like a mushroom about this business....kept in the dark and fed sh@#.......why the bickering is a issue i dont understand,,,,,,to all that have contributed,,,please either keep this thread alive or start new ones .....i would love to start a friendship that any and all that can keep giving advice up to and after i get my truck...believe it or not this type of stuff is the start to the change in the industry we ALL need....thanks to all
