DEF tank filled with gas would be interesting, everybody at some point wanted flamethrowers on their exhaust right?

I've had to flush hydraulic systems because fuel & lube "technicians" topped off the hydraulic tank with diesel lol.

Question: the actual metal nozzle part that you put in the filler hole. Isn’t it a different size for gasoline and diesel fuels?

    Asking for a friend.

They use the same small gasoline nozzles at regular gas stations. And like I said before, some independant Truckstops will have 1 pump for cars and pickups. I’ve accidentally used them, takes forever to fill 1 side. Same when filling at gas stations, in a pinch, or to save money.

In ‘84 my dad bought my mom a new Lincoln Mark7 with the BMW/Ford 2.4 liter Turbo Diesel.
Back then auto diesel pumps were still rare since diesel pickups were just starting to take off. Used to fill up on the drilling rig locations and spend lots of time driving around towns or cities looking around for auto diesel pumps that had the smaller nozzels to fit the tank neck that was the same as the gas cars.

Lots of times while getting fuel men would run up to the car yelling at my mom not to put diesel in that CAR! Lol!
