    Your are right on Volvo VN version 1 truck using Dixson (1996-1998), Pollack (1998-2003) the cluster have no provision for Million Miles number but all VN version 2 (production October 2002) and up have 8 digits possibility.

    Maybe I'm missing something but can't you just roll down the road a few miles and watch to see if the far right digit ticks off every 10th of a mile or every mile?
