If it's Mag Mount. It's easy. Unscrew the Nut on top. Raise cover up. Then look at the bottom of Mag. In the center is soft. Cut a hole in it. Then use a wrench to loosen it. And you will see how to remove coax. Or you can go to the Wilson web site for more info.

If you can't find a CB shop ask at a car audio shop.

LOL forget asking a car stereo shop, they don't know jack about CB's.

Hooking up and setting up a CB is so easy a caveman could do it. I suggest you learn how to do it yourself.

Really. No one has to be an eletrician to install a CB. Basic wiring. :biggrin_2556:

    If is a mag mount,
just remove the felt covering on the bottom of the the base and you will see how to replace it. Just be sure that you use the same length of coax and don't use some cheap ### truck stop crap. You may have to do a little soldering but as long as you solder the center conductor and the shield in the same place that the factory had it then you will be fine.

Red wire goes to hot(positive side of your battery) black wire goes to ground (black wire to the negative side of your battery) for power. Antenna should have an SWR of less than 2.0,a perfect 1.1 match is a wast of time and will gain you NOTHING in the performance of your CB radio regardless of what people tell you! Use a good mag mount antenna such as Wilson or a good trucker still antenna such as Wilson or predator and also the best coax you can find.

If you want some kind of custom install then for sure go to a custom stereo shop, the will put if where ever you want it.
