That dyed fuel is also a tax issue. Contact the department within the state that works with taxes. Document everything you do concerning this. OOIDA can also point you in the right direction.

 

Not sure where you are, But take it to your States Attorney General, They are the Governing Legal Representative of your state. You will be amazed if they find they have a real case!. They will get to the bottom of it.

 

I thought you had to be a member to get them to do anything for you? I may be wrong!

 

They're running at in their tanks? If they're buying that from a confidence store or truckstop all you need to do is get a name, and call the state tax office that handles that and inform them on where they fuel. The truck stops and stores should have to keep a log of non taxable (off road) diesel purchases. That's all you have to do and the rest will all fall into place, DOT can then get involved. Honestly its hard to believed they don't want to go after that. Hell the fines alone would be enough to put them out of business for good.

While living in Arkansas, driving a back/farm road I was stopped in my personal vehicle at a road block..man wearing IRS vest approached my F250 with a clear plastic tube..explained that were checking for farm fuel, took a sample from tank..when no dye was noticed he returned fuel and sent me on my way..
