    The Translo scanners at the truckstop are easy to use once you learn the basics. They are all the same. This may be helpful

    My last few years of driving I used a 3 in 1 printer/scanner to do in cab scanning of my paperwork. The reason I did this was because I also wanted the ability to print out permits and such. Many times my company scanned a permit to a PDF and emailed that PDF to me. I also used a laptop for this not a smartphone. If per chance you are using a laptop I suggest buying a cheap 3 in 1.
