That opti idle is hard on stuff, think dry bearings in the motor.

I rigged up one of those reversible window fans to help me stay cool while loading in the steamy dairy buildings. It wasn't enough so ibought a large box fan to help pull air out of the cab while the little window fan pushed air in.

Had it all figured out until one way over the 3 hour limit loading wore the battery bank down.

Decided Frick this. Drop the trailer in the dairy , and idle outside with the A/C set on 62. Good sleeping weather when it's 94 out.

    Love No Idle Limits

One time, I put one of my bed sheets in the Cooler for a while before going to bed.

Don't forget you got all that heat from transmission heating the floor and truck up onced parked. That running 170F in the summer.

2018 Volvo clean idle. Amazing truck. I can't even hear or feel it idle most of the time. No floor heat either. I still have a melted pill bottle that was in my briefcase from a 2007 FL.

That's just wrong, you're supposed to feel it idle, the floor doesn't get too warm as long as your air conditioner works.

I leave my engine running and AC on to stay cool, and the same method for heat in the winter.
I don't embrace this no idling practice, drivers suffer enough.
