Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Jobsite Fan (Tool-Only)-0886-20 - The Home Depot
Uses same batteries as their drills. If you own other Milwaukee stuff this is a very effective way of cooling. Just use this instead of idling 3 nights and it pays for itself. Blows strong and can last the entire break. -
So how much more is the battery and charger? Where are you going to recharge the battery?
-
Batteries are expensive. Probably less than $100 I'm not sure. I've got a bunch collected over the years when they come with the tools, so for me it was free. You can charge the battery with an inverter and Milwaukee also sells a way to charge them via USB.Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this.

117 is still 117 regardless of humidity.

There’s a point you reach when that doesn’t quite work out anymore.stwik and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Is this a Swift truck?? #### them idle the truck. Try that fan trick with a dog in the truck and see how the dog likes it.
-
Not swift lol. And they allow idling over 70* degrees but I don’t personally see it necessary myself. Growing up in Orlando Florida my parents never used the ac. So I’m fairy happy and cool with just a fan. I’ll start the engine every 2 hours or so just to cool things down a bit. Or keep it on during the day if the trucks ac isn’t keeping up with the outside heat(like today in Reno Nevada) truck ac is at 60 but it’s Moreno like 80 something in the truck maybe.

If you get them off the internet you might find them for under a hundred Milwaukee thinks a lot of their batteries I've seen them about 110 a few places.
