Well I suppose that works for some people but me being me I'd rather know the crap up front than AFTER I've wasted my time (been there and done that) Nothing is worse (IMHO) than someone NOT being their true self. I don't care about being impressed nor do I feel the need to impress.
Now I'm going to shut up so this thread doesn't get "hijacked"
How to tactfully back out of an orientation?

Only thing to be mindful of is don't leave when it will be seen as refusing a drug test. Ask to be sure.

Again - I get your point, but nobody likes being lied to - why not take a stand and start telling the truth for a change?baha, jcrack08, classic_150 and 6 others Thank this. -
In the end, it really won't matter what you tell the carrier. They are going to round file your app. Every single HR/Recruiter I know tells me. Once they see you are not going to orientation they just toss the files. They are not being mean or vindictive. They simply have to get back to getting warm bodies in the trucks. That's not being cynical or being obtuse, it's just how it is!
