How to work around Electronic logbook??

    LOL, I'm sure more than half the other drivers in this forum know what an EAD is, at least the smart ones. I'll let one of them tell you. But thanks for the laughs smart guy. You have a great day now.

    After searching this entire forum yours is the only inference to EAD...
    A Google search shows it as a green card..
    So what exactly are you talking about?

    The company I drive for have had elds for 6 years now (Qualcomm)
    The first thing you learn is to keep The screen on Hours of Service/VIR and every time you stop no matter what for you go off duty. Stay off line 4!
    When you take your 10 hour you log out, do not go off duty or sleeper, in case you need to move for what ever reason.
    When you log on immediately go to summary and change your duty status to “off duty “. That way your on duty time will not start until you move the truck. Otherwise your time on duty will start as soon as the eld cycles up.
    And do not approve anything until you go back and look over the previous days logs and edit out anything on line 4 that you don’t need shown.

    The only difference is that the elog is telling on him but he just doesn't know it yet.
