I have not crossed thst bridge yet. But i believe I will be fined. If I have a history of having fines then my licences will be affected. THAT is what I have heard.

You are entitled to your opinion. Thank you for your input. DON'T misunderstand safety is important. But i do not agree with having to function my daily runs as per a program cause my body is not a program.
    Happy trails.

That is what one guy did last night... Plant was p i s s e d to say the least. Out of four trucks ordered, I was the only one to make it. They paid $5 a mile for a load of empty racks, 400 miles all in. It was a good night, bagged $4.20 a mile back to Detroit, loading now. Screaming for trucks with hours out here, doesn't seem to be many. ;-)

Couple ways to get around Elogs.
Stay within 100 mile radius of your home terminal, and dont go outside that 100 mile radius more than 8 times in 30 days.
Get you a truck with an engine manufacture date of 2000 or older.
The cool thing about elogs is eventually DOT is gonna figure out nobody can cheat em and they will start looking at other things, like trucks that are POSs and trucks with engines older than 2000, because those are the guys trying to pull shenanigans. Then, since they have all the time in the world to focus on those guys, they will start going over them with a fine tooth comb.
    LOL.
