I would handle it without hitting anything. Set the brakes. Turn on my four way flashers, set the triangles and wait for police if necessary to back out. But really this isn't nearly as bad as some streets I've had to drive on. Not sure if he just left a shipper and they don't let you slide your tandems before leaving or not, but that would go a long way.
I'd put the entire tractor up on that curb if necessary. Don't hit anything.
How would y'all handle this...

Sounds like trucking to me ... And looks like it also. The last time that happened to me a stupid old lady school bus driver kept telling at me ""your not supposed to be here !!!!!!"" .. Lot of freaking help that did.

At least he's pointed the same direction as the one way arrow.
RedRover Thanks this. -
Try manuvering 90ft doubles that you don't back up. Risky business. GOAL is your friend. Even if you have to walk a block or 2.
No matter how long you drivethere's always something new in trucking. My first cow job.

You just have to drive for a company that doesent require backing, and no cutting corners..
Those exist...Right???Who woulda thunk this would be so #### hard???
Mostly a bunch of mouth breathing fat boys with no intelligence..Makes ya wander how the world rotates!!

Those stupid trailer tandems are slid all the way back. Fail. I would have had them up forward all the way.
There is a couple of other problems I can see but frankly he deserves a ticket, if not a weekend sitting in the pokey eating 1.10 cent expired potpies.RedRover Thanks this.
