Remember....when you drive in Alabama...you are required to play this song in your cab.
.
And when you drive in Georgia. You're required to play this song.. Oh brother Ray RIP.
I'll never forget. I had a load I had to push big time. My favorite person in the company called me. She said: Can you do me a favor? How could I say no? Where you're going. I have another load. Only difference is. There's no delivery time. There's no delivery date. You just get it there as fast as you can. Going through NE edge of Penn into NY late at night. I had Free Bird blasting on the stereo. I was bouncing in the seat. I swear. If a cop saw me. He woulda pulled me over.
How would you run this load?

When you meet girls in the truck stop lot. Remember this song.
homeskillet and JForce28 Thank this. -
It’s not that it’s the 3 am and 9 pm delivery in the same day.
-
Drive 10 hours after having your sleep thrown for loops. Not fun.
-
That's definitely doable. That AWG in OKC does take time, the last time I went there, I parked nearby the facility on one of the side streets. Since you were already in OKC, I know you made that first delivery with flying colors. Then Lubbock is another 300 or so miles so I would have got into Lubbock then started a break, especially if they have parking there or nearby. A nap definitely would have happened for me though.

I was just thinking how is this gonna work with a fourteen hour clock rule. I guess I’m learning here lol
-
When you take a ten. The fourteen is reset.JForce28 Thanks this.

I’m probably only gonna get 8 or 9 hours in the sleeper so we will see if it gives me a split sleeper because I did 3 hours at the first drop.WesternPlains Thanks this.

It should. If you're looking for time. I doubt it. But...you could go in under 5mph. No way they'll finish before 10 is up. I have been surprised in the past that time I've picked up when I had to stop for hours.JForce28 Thanks this.
