Ok one more time.....there are some that did not even get the privilege of that. Now I am pretty sure Luvmyhubby and others have said that this topic has been beat to death. So if people do not like the way others spell or write the simple thing is to not read it...just let it go already!

Function over form, some times a 3 year old with very little experience or mastery of the English language can confound genius's with honest, efficient use of every day words.

So, shadowlurker got his behind handed to him on a thread where he insulted someone over the poster's writing skills. Instead of taking the advice from other members not to mention the specific instructions given to him by the moderators, he has chosen to start an entire thread restating his position.

I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather read the posts of someone who can't spell, won't use a spell-check program and wouldn't know proper syntax if it bit him/her on the leg than to read the posts of a self-righteous, self-inflated, pompous, egotistical person who goes out of his way to insult others and to flaunt his disregard for the forum staff of a board that he's joined to garner advice for an industry he knows nothing about.

How you write doesn't matter nearly as much as your knowledge, wisdom and your character.

I'm not convinced. "How you do it matters" makes more sense than "Proper sex matters."

I will second that....but if you don't mind would like to add one also. Respect matters a lot more also. You cannot get respect from others without giving others respect first. Berating others for things they do not do perfectly shows not only a total lack of respect for your fellow drivers but a lack of respect for anyone who has a learning disability or is just not that great in spelling.

    To the OP:

    What does it really matter?

Most people get into a hurry when they type, so what?

If they are not sure of the spelling, so what?

If the grammar is bad, so what?

Grow up and deal with it.

you dont have to be an english major to be a truck driver.

just becouse someone doesent use perfect english doesent mean they cant drive that truck better than someone that uses commas in their post.

Rerun8963 and Dna Mach Thank this.
