Howdy from east Texas

I found this forum online and thought I would check it out. I wanted to take a minute and Introduce myself. My name is Lance Peek or you can call me Peeko (my handle here) and I am now working as Peek Transport, from Caddo Mills, Texas, near Dallas. I have been driving for U.S. Xpress the past few years OTR. After talking to several Hot Shot owner operators, I decided to try it out for myself. I have a friend who is currently a hot shot driver and he has been a great help in getting me going. I have set up my authority, permits and insurance, driving a Ram 3500 and pulling a Red Rhino 40' gooseneck flatbed. I have gone through a service that has helped make sure I have gotten all my forms filled out and submitted. (I never realized there was so much to setting up).

Anyway, like I said, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am pretty green to the Hot Shot side of hauling, but have OTR experience and consider myself a mature, safe and professional driver.
