Can't be out of gear more than "a truck length", so always be in a gear. Skipping gears downshifting is fine.
-
Is that really a thing, don't shift through intersections?!? I'd hate to be stuck behind you
-
It's the idiocy of the tests. Try sitting in the jump seat with a raw rookie crawling through an intersection as the light turns red.

Call out every speed limit sign, every bridge height sign, etc. if you call them out they cant ask you what the height of that bridge was 1 mile down the road, or the speed limit sign etc. and they will ask you that at some point along the way, so save yoursef having to memorize them if they do by calling them out. By law if you say the bridge is 14'-1" they cannot then ask you what was the height of that bridge after you pass it later down the road. They want to know you are paying attention to such things, so show them you are before they ask.BiH Thanks this.

Yep, they'll dock you points for shifting in an intersection, before finishing a turn or while going over railroad tracks. And while going downhill of course....BiH Thanks this.

I always thought it was no changing lanes in an intersection.Canned Spam and BiH Thank this.
-
Think it's both... Can't shift or change lanesLepton1 and 4wayflashers Thank this.
-
Thanks for the reply,'I'm make sure to let them know that I'm paying attention

use the gear that equal the speed limit 35 = 5+3 = 8th, 45 is 9th etc
BiH Thanks this.
