I am a driver, but I have not been in the truck since 2008. Life kind of changed my plans to stay in the truck. Now with family older and wiser, I can once again travel the blacktop, seeing the country through my windows. I had no idea that trucking would change so much that some one with a cdl, class "A" license would have as much difficulty in finding a carrier to drive for now than when I started in 2002. Overall with what has happened to our country, I guess laws that govern how and who is able to drive professionally is warranted.
I don't really consider myself a newbie, but experienced with rusty skills. When I find that company that is willing to work with me, then once again I shall enjoy the sites, sounds and taste of driving an 18 wheeler.
Full speed ahead!
Howdy y'all

I just wanted my name to be a little silly, can't always take things so serious. I found this site while searching the web. So far I like what I see. I hope I can get back into the trucking life soon.
critters and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
Welcome to the forum, good luck. There are places that will work with you, I'd try a smaller company in the area.
