Howdy Y'all

Been lurking the forums a lot for the past week as I recover from an illness. Not a trucker yet, but I've been meaning to acquire my CDL for a little while now and will be getting my permit soon. I'm 23, been in MA my whole life and in retail for the past 5 years. It's definitely time for a change of career, and perhaps locale (Free-Stater at heart!)

Also wanted to thank everyone here for their invaluable insights into life on the road. Some of your accounts have had me rolling on the floor laughing, and the stories of crappy trucking companies have taught me who to avoid. Looking forward to chatting with you all and learning even more about my next career.
