Hi Everyone,
My husband and I are both veterans (well, he's technically about to be, as he is retiring from the Army this year), and he's looking to get back into the trucking industry when he's all done. I came here to do research on some companies and gather whatever other information I can, both to help him and to become better acquainted with the industry myself. He drove before the Army and part-time while at a duty station in Texas while still in the Army, but now he's considering driving as a post-military career.
So... yeah. I'm here, and I may ask a ton of questions, but I figure that's what these boards are for.

Welcome to the forum, thank you both for your service.
Feel free to ask away. And good luckbullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Tell him to try to get with a tanker/hazmat company for the best money annually ($60K - $65K).
Get a passport and TWIC also. Google TWIC for the nearest office. -
Thank you. He has a passport already, I'll tell him about the TWIC. I really think he's trying to find a regional route, but we're not ruling anything out.
