    Yep, dozens of companies to choose from.
    US Express you mentioned is ok for teams but I wouldn't go there as a solo driver.

    Good info - thanks again. The whole reason I'm not doing CRST is I have no intentions on teaming more than I have to (us express requires 8 weeks of teaming after training before going solo).

    I find myself to work better alone and I prefer my own living space. Thanks again.

    Don't fall for any scams either; "We have this wonderful dedicated account unloading your own truck every day at Dollar General, etc."
    "We normally only put experienced drivers on these accounts, but you're exceptional so we'll make an exception just for you."
    Don't fall for it; the reason they want you is because they can't keep drivers on those accounts. Who works hard to get a cdl then wants to spend more time unloading trucks than driving?

    Yeah in my class we have recruiters come all the time and they tried to post that pitch to the whole class. All I really want to do is drive where they tell me to as quickly and safely as possible. 30 minute breaks right before 8 hours and 10 hour break after 11 or 14 hour is up depending. Travel the country, get paid a decent wage and drive, drive drive drive. 3 of my favorite things; money driving and traveling !
