That’s Awesome! Hopefully you end up on a bid fairly soon.

I will officially be on furlough starting next week.

Nobody has invented a truck that doesn’t require preventative maintenance and doesn’t break down. Only a matter of time before your truck has to go to the shop and you need to drive something else for the day.
Sounds like a great time to test the waters on other jobs without the risk of losing your seniority if it doesn’t pan out. -

When I interviewed the manager said his board is a little on the older side and he said back in the day it took 5 years to get a bid on average. He doesn’t think it will take 5 years anymore to get a bid. He hinted that he thinks within the next couple years there are going to be a few retirements.LPjunior1970 Thanks this.

The cut time is 8pm and this guy is very rarely gone before it. I'm at the terminal every day at 6pm sharp. Most times it's ready on my end so I leave. I come early to unwind, eat, find a good truck, if I hook make sure everyone is in good order, etc. This guy gets to the terminal at 1930 or sometimes 8. Very slow.
I really don't like him at all. I never even talk to him. I may text to say I'm rolling but when I see him I never say too much to him. I really can't stand himMike2633 Thanks this. -
I know but a truck that breaks down after was “fixed” it’s really frustratingGearjammin' Penguin and MACK E-6 Thank this.
