Im on Logan Aluminum Dedicated out of Russellville Ky. 5 loads is only getting me about 1800 miles, not getting home anymore than I did on linehaul, and with Pre-loads at Logan not getting much tarp pay.
I like the route and the people, just cant afford it!
They didnt give me a choice It only pays Milage. I was doing Great on Linehaul on %
Im really at odds, I love TMC and the flatbedding, the people, the Truck,
But my Wife is a Planner for a major trucking company and she and a couple of their execs I used to golf with (befor I was never home with TMC) are hounding me to come with them, .61 per mile. $24 for all time on Line 4, 6 days out 72hours home... but its union, terminal to terminal only, Slip seating... decisions decisions LOL -
thats a tough decision i guess i would have to look at most important options and is the union going to scold you on dues and stuff..

Is it better to be on % in the Southwest Virginia area or Mileage. I start for TMC soon and want to know? I would be in the Regional Div. I have read over 100+ pages about TMC and paycheck amounts. If I get 4-5 loads aweek and go off course very little, what do the paychecks look like. I heard 500 weekly, 700-900 weekly and the guy that came to the trucking school said 1,200-1,500. Now I have doughts that 1,500 weekly is a true number and if I only make $500.00 weekly then I better get my job back at CVS when I was 17. I figure the guys that make $500 everyweek are the ones that only get 2-3 loads or are way off course. Something wrong. Do you guys know around what the checks will be. Thanks for the infomation
