So I'm picking up in Iowa going to Sacramento, California, delivering Tuesday. I'm gonna take I-80W so how's it looking right now, any snow, ice I should worry about? Thanks.

I’m in wheatland Wyoming, it’s windy, cold at nights. No snow on i80, hit snow 2 days ago in Montana. You should be good heading to cali tho.

Paid version of trucker path also has camera function, you can check traffic and weather conditions live on your route

lots of states use the 511 web site or have their own 511 just Google state name and 511. CA i believe CalTrans runs everything. I know theyhave cams on 80 where you want to know about like Donner, etc. On Trucker Path as long as it's showing green traffic I wouldn't look at the cams. Once it shows yellow or red at state line then I start looking at particular cams.

My snow route out of California is south on 99, 58 east15 North or 10 East. California is too quick to require chains.

####... Hope I got out of that hell hole before that... I always take 99S to 58 East to 40 East to get out of that.
