    Great site !!!

    Save it and use it often for referrence. Using his suggestions, it removed a tone of white noise for me.

    I concur with my learned brethren above. I, too, recommend it often as a one-stop-shop of info about all things Mobile RF. Lots of simple-to-understand info for just looking up facts, but with a fair dollop of engineering for the folks who wanna know "why" as much as "what".

    Lol! Wow!

    I was just reading the section, Controlling Static. So, I got to the part where it talked about internal electronics causing noise. I turned off the inverter, and the S/dB needle moved from 8 to 3.5! That's probably been killing my receive! People can hear me fine, but I was getting a lot of noise past 2-3 miles. I'll have to wait to talk to someone to see how well this helped.

    This was my expensive solution. There was at least a 25 mile difference in what I was able to hear after I purchased this inverter

    Holy cow man. If I was getting 8 s units of noise in my receive I'd never turn the radio on. What kind of truck?
