As for trailers almost all require pulling the hubs for S - cam bushing replacement. For the majority of them around here that is about 5 years and or 600,000 miles.

I guess if I looked in there and the oil looked bad I’d probably change it, but I don’t think I ever have.
On my trucks, it gets changed when you have to perform some sort of service on the axle that requires removing the oil. Other than that it never gets changed.SL3406 Thanks this. -

Switched out to oil less hubs on the 03 FLD at 800k. They are a non maintenance part and good for 750k or so.
