The first couple of weeks seem to be like that Lots to learn and adjust to. It will get easier but be prepared to keep finding out something new that no one thought to tell you before. :biggrin_25522: If you really NEED to get home, you may have to turn down loads not going that way. But you will prob sit a day or so in the process. Thank You for the update Wyld! Take care and keep the updates coming.

    Wyldfyur Thanks this.

Once you get your CDL and y'all are a team, yes you can request a "team" truck. Depending on your DM he/she may try to convince you the trucks are all the same but those trucks that are "team" trucks have a little bit more room and a little bit more storage. You want every inch.

I think that currently y'all are on the "developemental" fleet. It's the most difficult time I think there was. Just try to ride it out, don't worry about hometime if you can and take your days off when you get them. The "developemental" DMs have one purpose and that's to make sure a driver can handle the road, get loads delivered on time and then move that driver onto his regular fleet with his regular DM. You'll build a relationship with your reg DM and things will be smoother.

    Hang in there!!

, is that the word lol. Anyway thanks for the support, I love ya gys even tho I cant always answer cause no wifi but will soon as I can. Nana the Lewiston office is very small so I dont know if he will get a diff DM or not. Keep praying hard.Well we are finally home! It was not the most pleasant trip for first time out, but I guess thats to be expected with all the stuff to learn. I definately have never seen anything as crazy as the qualcom. A DM here explained that it is an inanamate object and at times it can seem harsh, lol

My Qualcomm had a very special spot when I was sleeping..... in the closet, buried under the dirty clothes bag and anything I could use to muffle the danged thing. Until then, anytime it beeped I'd wake up. I wish they'd make a "sleep" mode so only critical messages would come through.
