Hubby is thinking about going to Melton...advice needed

    I would also like to see how he got paid under $300 when the math shows it well over double that .

    I was trained by Swift. They are thieves. I was never paid what I should have been. Melton is about 100 times better by comparison.

    What people are asking is this: 2,680 miles x $.29 cpm. = $772.20.......$772.20 - $136.01 (17.5% taxes) = $641.19

    Now; there is a HUGE difference between $641.19......and the $292.00 you said your "Hubby" is expecting in pay.

    WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?!?!?

    Update: Hubby has been with Melton since January and really likes it. He isn't too crazy about tarping in winter but overall he loves driving for them and Melton doesn't cheat him out of pay so that has been nice.

    What have his miles looked like? Hubby is a Swift driver as well and while he likes where he works, his DM is AMAZING, and he's never been cheated pay or anything like that, he is looking for someone who will pay him for the 2 years experience he has.

    Im going through orintation right now with Melton, tomorrow is last day, The insurance for me and my wife is, $76.and some changes, So far, I'm liking everything here

    Your husband would start at $.42 cpm over here at Melton. Miles are good. Hell of a step up IMHO.
