    7.5mpg...holy crap. I avg right around maybe 6.7-7.0mpg. Glad I have no requirements.

    Just fueled my 2013 pete 386. Running i5 thru 7 percent grades I got 6.5 mpg flatbed

    Im on I5 as well going to Portland, sitting at the Pilot in Rice Hill. Right now im at 6.7.

    It went up recently. It's 7.75 for flatbed division.

    If he was coasting, I wouldn't worry, the engine isn't using fuel at zero throttle.

    Takes alot of tinkering to get the econo up. nitrogen instead of air in tires .1mpg setting the side flairings right so they are smooth for airflow .05 mpg, extending the back flairings a couple inches .1 mpg shortening the distance between the front of trailer and cab back .2mpg. shifting manually not electronically 1 mpg, using the engine torque instead of HP on grades about .3 mpg. Using your head instead of your ### priceless.
