LOL... Nope he was delivering in North Charleston, S.Carolina. They didnt have an evacuation in effect except for asking people on boats and the shore line to move inland. They just had a tropical storm warning. I stayed up all night and monitered the weather for him while he slept. Woke him at 4am so he could get an early start to his delivery point. He called me when he got to the delivery point and said the weather was fine. I then went to sleep and have just "revived" again. I am fixing to call him and see if he got unloaded and where he is at now.
Hope your brother is ok??? -
Ok... Just talked to Kittyfoot and he is unloaded and trying to head for home! He is on I-26 just south of I-95 stuck in a traffic jam due to a wreck. He is gonna take I-26 to I-20 and head back to good ole Louisiana. He did say that water was backing up into the low areas in North Charleston but not over the roads or anything. Just in the low areas.

There are some radio comments that Washington, DC may have a delayed arrival on Monday for the business week. I wonder how much damage will be done and how much things will be messed up around that town. PEPCO's president has come on TV and says that electric power will be off for days if not for weeks.

Also, Mayor Bloomberg has ordered the MANDATORY evacuation of 300,000 people from low lying areas of New York City. My guess is that this includes the former World Trade Center site, near the Battery in Lower Manhattan.

The wind has picked up even here in East TN. You can see clouds being pulled towards the hurricane. It's amazing how much power is in one of them things.
It looks like it turned a little towards the better if you can say that. It's a little more east than projected.
I bet Obama ain't buckled down in the White House.

You are correct.
He is in Rhode Island at the Vineyard, till Saturday.
