Whatever you do, do not go with Hurricane Express. A friend of mine just left there. He got ripped off. The big shiny 379 Pete's, w/ the 18 speeds are turned down to 66mph. No pulling power at all, and most of their return loads go from the west coast to the northeast. A lot of freight goes up into New York city. Even though you are leasing the truck, they tell you when and where you HAVE to fuel. They also dictate your routes for you. You have to follow their routes or get penalized. You are paying their truck payments for them to Peterbilt, and you have absolutely NO freedom to make decisions on your own. STAY AWAY from this den of LIARS and THIEVES.
