Excuse the addition of a few ,. and spaces, we all understand, because we've been there and most have been bent over the oil tank somewhere. Take a deep breath, be glad your out of a bad situation, put it in the mirrors.

Hurricane Express has had a bad reputation for a long time. They used to advertise "lease/purchases" for fancy extended hood Petes with 120" sleepers. They payments were ridiculous and even if you could manage to get to the end of the lease they had a balloon payment that would kill you.

Their shady dealings aren't news. Drivers should be well aware of these crooks and stay the hell away. Lease/purchases in general are a bad idea.

CountryCool1 (Gary) reminds me of someone in a Super Sleeper at a T.S. on a Giganticously Powered C.B. bleeding 10 channels both ways with

That was one big old text wall. I got lost somewhere around where the first period should have been.

I've talked to a few HE drivers. None of them like the way the trucks are set up. They are very restricted on engine rpm per gear (apparently) which seems to make driving one of their trucks more aggravating than necessary.

I talked to one their driver the other day and he showed me that the owner who is obviously quite dumb had the low side of the splitter on the 18spd transmission locked out because he only wants them to use the high side on each gear...side splitter on the stick..

Is this Hurricane the one that pulls white reefers with “Hurricane” in big black block letters?

So why didn't he just put 10 speeds in the trucks and save the money? Or be a really nice guy and give the drivers a 13 speed? Those trucks don't need an 18 speed anyways. They aren't ever going to pull anything heavy enough to split the low-side.

It’s mind boggling that so many drivers are willing to work low wages just to drive a big show truck smh
