Hurricane Express Total Ripoff

Too much energy wasted being mad. I don't see the point in holding one truck hostage over spilled milk. If you were leasing that truck, its in your best interest to do the work yourself. If the truck was not under warranty, it was more than likely your responsibility to keep it road worthy anyway.
Its not the companies fault if you were gullible and uneducated therefore slapping signature to paper without reading or being able to comprehend written "englich".
Just because its legal doesn't make it right. Two wrongs don't make a right..... why not chop it up to college, you paid a price and learned a lesson, I guess unless you need something to be bitter about everyday. Not like you're going to get rich or pocket substantial coin from the shenanigans.

Its notbthe companies fault if you did not read what you put your signature on, and if you did read it and did not comprehend it, why did you jot ask questions? If this is what happened, who's fault is it?........... feel better?

He has every legal right to slap a mechanics lien on that truck.

Hurricane is a lease outfit, correct? When you lease a truck that is not under warranty, it is your responsibility for upkeep and repairs, bottom line. Unless the contract states that said company will cover parts and or labor. Classic example of bashing a company due to a lessors ignorance. Doesn't mean the company is a rip off.
