    we've talked to drivers with greatwide over the years and the ones we spoken with were struggling for loads & money not will have to check into cardinal thank you chinatown

    Landstar does have a program for an o/o to train family members but not sure of the details. I've been there over 5 yrs. but as a solo.Best bet would be to call a l/s recruiting agent.

    Let your hubby train you, then call around to carriers and start making lists of what they offer.
    Be sure to check their score too, as that WILL affect your earnings and headaches. Cant make anything when you are sitting over a pit getting a DOT inspection can you?
    We run paper logs, and our safety rating has always been very good, so it has absolutely NOTHING to do with elogs or paper logs. And those that think that us guys running paper logs just cheat all the time and give you all a bad name....get a life, along with some experience. Not the case, thus why companies like ours are still able to run paper logs, and didnt get made to run elogs just to stay in business.
