Anyone know where to buy a small hydraulic device? Something that will automatically press my gas pedal down once every four or five minutes?

Suspect Zero and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Hydraulic? Look up solenoids. Or find a company that cares enough about you to not let you freeze.

Im gonna make this device and sell it to all the mega drivers, combine that with my other idea of selling boxed def in the parking lot of the truck stops with frozen def lines , i will be the richest trucker by the end of this winter..

I don't freeze, but I sit in a miserable dark hole with no light, no air circulation, and no inverter to keep anything charged.

Then that. Find a company that doesn't do that.

Years ago, that's what a brick was for. I'm thinking the truck keeps shutting off while idling. I think if you set the cruise while idling , it overrides that.

Nowadays u have to trick the engine computer to think that something is going on otherwise it will shutdown... some companies disable the cruise. Thats why when it warns u its going to shutoff if u press the acellorator or brake pedal it tells the engine computer something happened and it will keep engine running.. Thats why pulling red knob and push yellow doesnt work because nothing happens after a couple minutes.. If u flucuate the rpms that will keep it idling all night long because the engine computer senses something happening... the old brick trick would work if u were able to keep the rpms moving up and down . Even 1 rpm up and down will keep it idling but if u just stick the brick on the pedal and the rpms go to 1100 but never move from there it will shuttdown after a couple minutes because the engine computer isnt recieving any new information... gotta love technology
