That or that sinking feeling you get when trying to get under a heavy load on soft ground..
Both have their pros and cons, but right now I do like having the hyd. neck.. Now if I just quit breaking trls. Haha
Hopefully this 55ton will last longer.Does not say XL on it.
Like I said in really cold weather it will take a while for the oil to warm up before you even try using it..

I use aircraft synthetic hydraulic oil, it flows in the cold...but it is noticeably thin in the heat of summer, but that's better than syrup in a hydraulic tank any day.
Yes I laughed at the wet kits thingy...this is in a self contained hydraulic trailer ("pony motor" or "my Honda").
Hydraulic all the way, mechanical is for breaking $?!&, unless you have a winch... -

2-sometimes difficult to get pony started when really cold
3-remembering to carry gas for pony motor
4-quite a bit slower movement than wet kit
5-anyone can pull the trailer, wet kit not req'd
none of these are a deterrent in MY opinion281ric Thanks this. -
