Hygiene questions

and real truckers don't shower every day.

 

My dad always said that, when he was young (1930s), they took two baths a year, "dirty or not". He was probably exaggerating.

 

An Old man once told me that in even in the 50s and 60s truckers showered when it rained and washed in creeks. Toothbrushing was unheard of, and they slept under their trailers wrapped in blankets.

 

And they made your country great without AC in the truck.
Today 's truckers addicted to Johnson&Johnson.

Really, my dad took one every day. 76 Auto/Truck stops had private showers in the '70s, but some of the places in the Midwest had locker room showers with ultra high sulfer water.

 

Yeah but dem ol timers still probably smelled better than the sweat pants people out here. You know, the Nascar t-shirt with the belly hanging low and the flip flops flopping and heavy mouth breathing. They usually have semi long hair that's kinda grey but they're not old.

 

What about the drivers who just took a shower and still smell like butt?

True story.

 

Get a shower before you head out your good for 2 weeks lol I just left shower at the pilot, you will have more than enuff free showers from fueling up

 

Id herd the whole lot of them into the bay.

In the USA you can get showers. It's best you do. Wear sandals and such against infections up to and including blood borne.

There is nothing worse than a week over roasted mr stink coming in to breakfast. Clear the whole truckstop out sometimes.... ugh.

 

Well there are lots and lots of rivers and beaches just take a cake of soap and jump in, otherwise use one of the many truck stops that provide showers.
