i can only imagine the costs..
then come replacement time, it'll cost even more, as you need mounting, balancing, replacing the tire pressure sensor valve stems, and they will sell you an alignment as well....

Just pondering issues besides the obvious...
What happens when that metal strap is operated in the typical salty slush? You couldn't really insulated them electrically without reducing their traction effectiveness, but energizing them in a conductive brine will have current going everywhere where it's supposed to go. Even getting power out to the wheel end will have to be really well sealed for the same reason.
And i can't imagine what all that does to unsprung weight, which is detrimental to handling. -

Being those two manufacturers I’m sure they are working with Hankook and/or Nexen for that tire. Cream of the crop. Lol
