I was more concerned about the road, but I did a quick google search and learned that it’s absolutely a truck route.

So I’ll be one step closer to Willin’ after this weekend. I’ve been to Tucson and Tucumcari, now I’ll be driving through Tehachapi.

Tonapah, I’m looking at you now!

If you are heavy, CA58 going into Tehachapi is a slow go.

    Rideandrepair and tarmadilo Thank this.

It’s a nice light furniture load, perfect for hill climbing!

And it's about time that receivers got on board with the idea of allowing safe parking off the road - even with no facilities.

0800 appointment when safe parking is 100 miles away , and rush hour traffic? Hey, lets work together - somewhat - shall we?

Better bring cash for the bridge toll
On the Richmond San Rafael bridge. It won’t be cheap. Corte Madera is my childhood home town and definitely not truck friendly.

If you’re going west there isn’t much of a climb, you’ll be dropping off the top down into the valley. The scale at Mojave can be picky sometimes on their inspections but I never had any real problems there and it’s easy enough to get around if you’re concerned.
