I agree , but its swift , they dont have a brain to start with. learning anything is out of the question for some of these guys. Unfortunatly they will only learn when they get killed out on the road one day due to bad decisions

When I was a new driver years ago, I let another driver back my truck into a dock at the Galveston Delmonte facility. The docks closest to the office tend to get pretty tight when drivers crowd the docks in the holding area.

This year I returned the favor by backing another driver's truck into a tight spot in the Victorville Mars lot. It wasn't a particularly hard back, but the driver clearly needed more experience with setting up for tight backs. I tried to talk him into the spot for 15 minutes and he kept turning in too early, so I just asked him if I could show him.

I'm thinking that maybe the person originally driving the truck has no clue about "Inter-Axle Differential Lock"

I did a good deed for swift once.....held up traffic and gave him a chance.

guess I shoulda backed it out of the private business parking lot he drove in that wasn’t his pickup or delivery.....

How does Swift manage to withstand all those liability cases...most likely millions over the years?

Well its very reassuring to know that our local officers can do more than just eat donuts and write out traffic tickets.
