I-40 Exit 87 BBQ Stand - Tennessee

They were busy today. I was going to stop but they were done with pork by 130.

 

Probably helps they have that lady On the radio advertising.

 

There's another one I've spotted in SC at the TA in Duncan. Same kind of setup. Never tried it but I just love BBQ.
im sure though that it's a pretty intensive way if making a living. All that time you need to smoke the meats. A lot of prep and buying the good cuts of meat. Not to mention the kind of wood you need to make it really delicious.

 

By where I live there's a lady who opened a BBQ place by me that's out of this world. They own 10 other ones in Arkansas. She has her brother run it. I met the guy and he showed me the smokers. They are actually indoors and are kind if like a big pizza oven. The lady is originally from NJ so she thought shed try NJ. It's working for her too.

 

There was another on i65 in Kentucky. Exit 72 I think. Was great bbq. It burned down but they are back open now
