Man, 287 is no fun. I did that after they closed 80 in the middle of winter a few years back. Sat on I-80 for six hours.

EVERY hotel in Rawlins was full to the rafters. 287 to 220 was a knuckle buster at 1 a.m.

To add insult to injury, we having one of our famous wind storms.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this close before the night is over.

I don't understand how y'all can live out there. What do y'all get, about 6 weeks of nice weather a year?

LaQuinta Inn in Cheyenne is great tonite, and the wireless internet works good too. I will just have to see how things are tomorrow.

No way I was going to Casper and than across 287, not as late in the afternoon as we got here.

And the hotel was just looking so inviting, so me, the boyfriend and the dog are chilling in style tonight.

You all have fun out there. Keep it between the lines.

June 18 through June 26 is usually sunny.

All the horrible weather keeps the riff-raff out.

    It ain't that bad.

We have more days of sun each year than many other places.

It's just hard to see the sun with a steady 30 mph breeze in your eyes.
