    Well.. you've got a bed.
If you have to, and it seems probable, get a day job and live in that truck.
Pool that cash for a month or two or three before it gets hot.
Eat bologna sammiches and refill your water bottles from the tap.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Sounds like you're at the bottom.
Start kicking and pulling at the water.
THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO.
Claw and fight. It's just you.
Think of the satisfaction you'll have 6 short months from now when things look entirely different.

But, they won't if you just wait on a miracle.
Miracles happen when you help them along.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself and STAND UP AND FIGHT.

Although he just left for less-frozen pastures, maybe @bonder45 can point you somewhere you can put your wet kit to work. If you can/want to haul pipe, I can make some suggestions, but the weight of your truck will be an issue.

Was all this misfortune part of the original plan? I doubt it. My Father liked to say, The road to hell is paved with good intentions.I hate that saying, because it’s so true. Lighten up, it’s never the end of the world. You can shake it off, in the big scheme, it’s not really a big deal, I wish you the best with the family, the rest of it comes and goes. Not worth regretting material stuff. It’s just stuff.

I left AB because it was shatty, my friends who are there right now have both went to Trimac based out of Edmonton just to pay some bills.

That’s the only suggestion I have currently.
