June of 18, yep. I didn’t do it for that reason though. I didn’t know what a good rate was. I just wanted the freedom and the challenge. I was leaving my company job come hell or high water.
I’ve been thinking, i may’ve had to wait on CHR for 3 months. I didn’t have any problems finding work right away though. TQL kept me busy. I laugh about it now.joseph1853 and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -

There are some factors that go into this such as what type of freight you are going to be hauling and if you are open to going where the money is good or need to stay more local. That being said, there are definitely plenty of brokers and debtors who will find freight for you on day one of your authority going active. I partner with a dispatch service that does just that. I'm also unable to mention who I work with as there are rules against selling services on here, but there are a number of good options for sure

Its been 4 months since I got my authority. Theres alot of brokers that wont work with you til you have 3, 6, 12 months.
I have two trucks and havent had any issues getting work for my trucks.
I like Convoy & Uber Freight because i dont have to pay a factoring fee.
I was able to start picking up load from these brokers with right away when my authority was active.
Convoy
Uber Freight
TQL
CH Robinson
CR England
