Ok....seeing that you are from Whitehouse, Ohio, and have commented so negatively in my thread....why do you feel the need to "warn" me?

Get out of what now? The thing that I have always wanted to do? The thing that actually takes skill and perseverance every day? The thing that obviously you couldn't do, so now you warn others in an attempt to build yourself back up, only to have the courage to fill out an application at McDonalds?

I am sorry to inform you of this, but I don't really care to hear anything else you have to say. Good day. :D

You have the right attitude Mike. Don't let the haters bother ya. There's always one or two around.

Like the great Jimmy V said...

"How do you go from where you are to where you wanna be? And I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal. And you have to be willing to work for it."

I've been getting a lot of no's but I think most of them are because I live south of Orlando and I guess that's their cutoff area for Florida. A lot of the larger carriers have told me they're simply not hiring out of Florida at this time.

That's exactly why. There are some though. What town do you live in and what are you looking to drive? How much experience do you have? I may have some ideas for you but it would help to know that stuff first.

I spoke with Schneider today, and they sound interested. I hear they have really turned around in the last year or so...

I've been hearing that same thing for about 3 years now. I personally wouldn't hesitate too much going to the pumpkin. Like every other company in existance, they'll have their good points and bad points.

So....Schneider lied. They said there were jobs available where I live and it isn't true. :biggrin_25510:

It may be Werner. There is a Family Dollar account near me that is open. :D

lol....so apparently Werner's "pre-hire" letter means nothing, right along with my recruiter telling me that there isn't anything on my application that would disqualify me.

Why do they do this? All they are doing in wasting everyone's time. If it is a no, then just tell me so I can move on and you don't have to have me calling you once a week.
