try A soft drink company or beer u could get your foot in the door and driving experance they are stepping stones around where I live

 

I will venture 2 say you wood knot recommend this place @ all cre england that is

 

They did you a favor,if your a family man you dont want to go there,they dont care about the drivers only the loads,and they will keep you out there for month or more.

 

Gosh I don't feel so bad driving for Crete. I hear all these horror stories, I won't complain about getting home a few days late. Sure the dispatchers will mess try and mess with me, or send me to Ft. Worsen Staten Island, but it seems I got it better than most. I made decent money I stayed busy, sure there are some slow times but it happens in this industry. I want to leave, some has to do with the dispatchers but mostly I just want to sleep in my house I bought in my oh so cozy bed.

 

I would check out Roehl. Most of the people on here seem fairly satisfied with them. They have a terminal in Gary, IN, so I know you are in their hiring area. I would check to see if you can go through one of their shorter orientation programs since you have your CDL and past experience.

For the most part Roehl treats us pretty well.

 

Oh please. Anyone who thinks they are going to make 1000 bucks in a 4 day week as a new driver is an idiot.

I've been driving a little while and if you tell me where the 4 day $1,000 work week is at I'm there.

talk about unrealistic expectations. Sounds like an OWS "i'm owed stuff" person

 

I used to driver for them and had a bad experience but the majority of people I talk to seem to like them. Wouldn't be a bad place to start, imh.
