Upon further thought, I'm convinced now that it's an embedded fraternal twin that is just now making itself known. REDD, do you have any teeth protruding from your ankle? Can you see up girls skirts? Stab your ankle with a fillet knife and see if you hear any screaming coming from within.

Sheeeeshhhhhh you folks are just plain cruel here. Poor old Redd is in pain, and all you can do is make fun of him, try to hijack the thread, and then make fun of him some more.:biggrin_25523:

Redd, if you are still alive and able to read this, you might want to think about hobbling in to a walk in clinic somewhere so they can take a look at your hoof there. . .:biggrin_25526:

Now then, where did I leave my cup of coffee?:biggrin_2557:

Give me directions! I'm in Ohio right now!

Can't get medicare here in the states until your up around WCP age. No insurance! I play the cash game!

    I'm feeling it

I'd prefer that then being nuetered

You ain't got nothing to do until Monday. Pack up your ol' lady & all those kids into the short bus & come on over to Les's for the weekend. BTW, Is she pregnant yet?

    Stubborn?

    #1= Not really
#2= I feel a swell, but not sure if it is a true swell
#3= No... I just took my boots off. It is red where the boot tongue rubs my foot. But it always is until my feet breathe.

Thanks for making me look. I don't think it is my ankle now. Feels like there is a muscle below the ankle joint that runs diagonal across the foot. That's where I feel everything.

I Love You Too! And I promise that any spawn of mine won't be brats 2% of the time!!

Go read post #9 for an alternative!

Actually, if 1nonly asked me to go get snipped, I probably would!

    :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559:

Ya'll can't handle one of me... There is already a twin. A much younger twin! 1nonly has met him.

Thank you. But I really needed the laugh they all provided.

I bought some BenGay & rubbed all over it. I think it's just a muscle. I'm going to take it easy until Monday. If nothing feels better at that time. I'll find someone in Kansas to look at my swollen muscle.

Since you're saying it feels like a muscle, it sounds like a compartment injury. The muscle runs inside a sheath. Sometimes, when the muscle is injured, the sheath remains intact and any swelling in or around the muscle will add pressure inside the sheath, creating intense pain.

My recommendation: take a daily dose of an anti inflamatory such as ibuprofen, fetoprofen or aspirin if your stomach can handle it. Tylenol is no good for this. It's not an anti inflamatory. Try to take a little time and place a little heat on it before you start work and at the end of the day, raise your foot above your heart and ice it down. Do this for about a month. Compartment injuries take a long time to heal. I had one in my right foot as well....oh, about five years ago. Even now sometimes it sends a single shooting pain up to my knee.

0f course, we could also use the more elegant solutions offered by your "friends" but wait until I get there. I wanna see too. We can have a Defoot Redd party complete with a Captain Morgan Lookalike contest and a sock hop.

Are newbies permitted to come to the defoot ceremony and is there enough room to park all the trucks??

K-Y Jelly is best to get rid of ticks. Petroleum products have a tenacity to kill them in place.

REDD I will add to Injun's recommendations to alternate heat and cold

How about a 3 legged race. REDD wouldn't have to have his leg tied to anyone after being defooted. LOL

*gives Redd a very stern motherly look* Redd. Go have it looked at. You're far to young to have chronic pain and live with it. No, no, do not argue with me. Don't not listen to your rowdy friends. Would you jump off a cliff if they suggested it???? Go have the foot looked at.

Seriously, my daughter thought she had a muscle sprain and it acted just like you're describing. It was a fracture.

Please go have it looked at. I don't need the worry over your stinky foot.

P.S. Change your socks before you see the doctor.
