i am making over 2 times more than i have ever made in my life...

I could see myself loving it locally, or if i didnt have familial obligations at home that make me feel guilty every time i go back out on the road again.

But yeah, im doing this because i laughed at my school teachers about the importance of tests.

 

Well God help me then. I love this job may dislike parts here and there but still love at the end of the day or I would go put that collage education to use.

 

10-4, driver. I still wouldn't trade it for a 9-5 office job.Worst day trucking is better than the best day in a cubicle - or something like that.

 

Thats right I have had many jobs over the years I started at 13 a full time out side if the home job anywhere from food service to construction to computer networking and nothing beats driving a truck for some of us diesel fuel runs though our veins. Only other job I had that gave me satisfaction was as a special needs care giver.

 

The thing that bums me out about trucking is there is never a sense of completion as in "it never ends."

About the only thing that I miss in trucking are all o' them "sexual therapists" that came pounding on my door in the middle of the night.
I kept a Mickey Mouse hat and two black socks in the top bunk just for the occasion.
Heck, even they demanded more pay when they worked overtime.

 

No, your ideas frighten me. Again I ask why haven't you built your own company since all the rest are evil? You've had plenty of time. You're not disadvantaged in any way. Why do you keep complaining when you could be doing something?

Of course that frighten me. I've worked for all I have earned. I'm building my own company. I'm doing.
